Well, we woke up really early today because we were going to Mackay today to visit my Maaaaa & Daddy’s friends, John & Kerry.

We drove for a few hours stopping along the way at Marlborough and Sarina. We were a bit early to meet them and so we went sightseeing at some pretty beaches in Mackay.

The first beach was called Bucasia Beach where we went for a walk and could see Dolphin Heads, my friend “Winter” the dolphin would love this place. The second beach we went to was Shoal Point, where we had lunch and watched lots of people playing with their puppy dogs. My Maaaaa and my daddy acted really silly here. I guess this is because we were all excited about seeing our friends and also because we were getting very close to Airlie Beach.

“I think Daddy is about to take off like a seagull!” says Stiffy Bear as he watches his Daddy acting silly.

Where is Stiffy Bear? He has wondered off and it is such a big beach.
