Well, our second day on the road and we have lots to do… Today we went to a little place called 1770, what a funny name. My Maaaaa told me that this is where Captain Cook landed and he discovered Australia. It is also a town with a beach, just like my home at Coolangatta. Here are some photos, we had a wonderful time…

We then all got back in the car and kept driving north. We drove all the way to Rockhampton. It is famous for Mooo Cows, in fact there is a giant bull at the entrance to the city. We stayed at the True Blue Motor Inn, and they had lots of toy blue heeler puppies…that is what True Blue stands for! Wee Bear and I liked the puppies. We also met Kevin the Kookaburra outside our room and there was also a family of Kangaroos…Boy oh boy, we really are getting to know Australia. Here are some photos…
